FAQ
What’s the best way to maximise the productivity of my vacuum pump/compressor?
Scheduled maintenance and servicing keep compressed air systems running smoothly. Keeping up to date with the unit’s service schedule will extend its life span.
How do I keep up to date with my maintenance schedule?
Preventative Maintenance Schedule: We take on the responsibility of your maintenance schedule. We work to an agreed upon timetable to ensure the minimum amount of disruption possible and will provide reminders before each scheduled visit.
Internal Housekeeping: You can monitor the hour metre and call us when it flashes ‘Service’. Units should be serviced every 3,000 hours if use. Don’t let your unit run too long after this interval as there is a danger it will seize and you’re in danger of production downtime.
Is there anything else I need to do to look after my vacuum pump/compressor?
Yes. Checking oil levels daily on all vacuum pumps and compressors if required. Contact us if you’re unsure about checking the oil on your unit.
Can I use any oil to top-up my vacuum pump/compressor?
Contact us and we’ll recommend the best oil for your vacuum pump/compressor. We can also supply the oil for your unit.
